I hate holidays

damn. I just hate the holidays.
"Mun Yi! Go and sweep the floor arh! Sweep downstairs already then upstairs! And make sure you press down onto the floor. Otherwise the dust will not be swept up!"
sweep. sweep sweep.
"What are you doing?!" "I asked you to PRESS down!" *snatches broom and demotrates it exaggerately almost bending the broom*
"Sweep under here!"
sweep. sweep sweep.
" Have you swept that place?"
"Yes, Grandma"
*inspects it closely*
" Liar! You did not sweep this! Look how much dust there is!"
*uses hand to swipe up some dust*
"You call this sweeping?!"
*wipes her dirty hand on the front of my shirt"
" You're not putting any effort at all!"
" I swept it! I really did!"
" Then you did not sweep it clean enough and that means you don't even care....*nags on and on*"

"Are you sweeping upstairs?"
"Yes, Grandma"

"Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I gave out a high pitched scream.
"What huh? Ur own house also refuse to sweep is it? Scream for what huh?"
She thought I was screaming coz I was fed up from sweeping.
"Nothing, Grandma"
A tear dropped but she didn't see it coz she was downstairs and I was upstairs.
Guess why I screamed?
I had felt smth crawling up my leg and guess what I saw? Guess?





A lizard.
But I wasn't going to tell her. I am 99.999999% sure that she's going to scold and nag on how timid I am to fuss over a lizard.
